The Trifecta

My dad says I "hit the trifecta" this weekend. I don't really know what that means, but I know I got to play football on Friday, went surfing on Saturday and sailed on Sunday.

Here's a short clip on me sailing on Sunday.

Surfing Sandspit

My mom bought be a new full suit today so I talked my dad into taking me out to Sandspit at the end of the SB Breakwater to try it out. On our way out there we ran into my friend Wyatt and his dad.

Wyatt and I and a longboarder had the waves to ourselves until about 4:00 when the tide was at it lowest, that's when some other kids came out who were really good. The waves were steeper than I was used to, but I still did pretty well.

I surfed for over two hours while my dad stayed on the beach and talked to Wyatt's dad. It was fun.

We played Cleveland School yesterday. We won, 12-0. I'm on the kickoff team and play running back sometimes. Last week I got a flag on a kickoff. Yesterday I ran a "55 give". My friend Eli's dad Mr. Lux took these pictures. Check it out.

My perfect weekend is to sail one day and surf the other. This weekend I got to surf on Saturday and sail on Sunday. It was the last day of Seashells for the year and it's called "Dinghy Jamboree". This is a day where we do fun stuff with our boats or decorate them or dress up in costumes. There are fun races like the backwards race where we sail backwards downwind or the race where we pick up numbered blocks and try to get to 100.

Two years ago I rigged a trapeze on my Sabot. Last year we connected two Sabots together to make a catamaran. This year we rigged my Sabot with a spinnaker. Check it out.

Surfing at Mondo's With My Friend Patch

I don't just sail. I go to school, play flag football and I love to surf with my friend Patch and his dad. Check out this video of Patch and I surfing at Mondo's. That's me, taking this wave down the line
